Can't say that they will be getting anymore money from me anytime soon. I will still play the game, just won't buy anymore addons.

We will see how long I stand by this but as far as I am concerned I dont plan on buying any DLC for MW2 unless we have Dedicated Servers. I highly doubt we will ever see Dedicated Servers so I dont expect to be buying any DLC.

I guess I could be convinced to do it if enough DaCers do it and tell me how great it is.

I was really let down at the LAN this past weekend in regards to MW2 because it was such a bitch to get it working for everybody and then on the 2nd day (Saturday) I couldnt even play it all all because I couldnt connect to Steam.

All depends on the cost. If we are still playing it I will buy for $10.

I honestly have a blast playing it, at this point for the most part not having dedicated servers doesn't bother me. And yes, the LAN situation with it was crappy, but that is twice a year.

When you play on XBOX, do the maps rotate?

Not in the traditional sense. It's pretty much exactly the same as what we get on the PC with the vote option and the same map sets for each game type.

"The Stimulus Package delivers 5 additional action-packed multiplayer maps featuring a variety of locations: "Bailout," a multi-level apartment complex; "Storm," an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery; "Salvage," a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars. Two legendary fan-favorites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare return, including "Crash," a war-torn urban environment; and "Overgrown," which features a massive dry creek bed."

$15 for three new maps and 2 more recycled maps? Are these guys on crack?

This is the problem when you take development away from the community. I have seen more ingenious maps on SOF and other games that came from the community and were Free....

MW2 already made a billion dollars, they are going to milk it for all they can. And know what? People will buy it! Think about all of DaC (and many other forums) "principled stand" and "boycott". We have a whole angry thread swearing to never buy it here: http://clandac.com/index.php?f=44&t=829 ... om_jfusion

And what game have we played? Thats right. PC gamers caved to the tune of 1 billion dollars, and will cave for several million more.
